Remember the category list in part one? So now it’s time to drill down. I invite you to write down the category you are interested in and expand it.
Example one
Do you interested in science? What type of science do you like? Chemistry? Physics? Biology?
Example 2:
Do you like to donate and help society? Great! how would you like to do it? (become a firefighter and use your body, or become a scientist and use your brain?
You can also become a social worker and plan to get a master’s in social work and use your empathy.
The Art of Combination
You can choose many categories and combine them. For example, if you like computers and art, you can be a traffic designer or web developer.
A business management degree may be your cap off tea if you are great with numbers but also like to work with people.
So after choosing some category is time to write down all the options.
Feel free to write everything that comes to mind. Don’t worry about having too many options. We will eliminate them in the next chapter (once and for all).
- I invite you to share this blog with your friend if you find it useful.
Go wild. Write everything down. Don’t skip any option you are connected to (it may be your career and your next degree).
Also, feel free to return and repeat this process more than once. I promise that some of you will get new ideas and insight the second time (I am inviting you to add this site to your favorite and back to it tomorrow)
So after researching and writing all of the options, its time for the elimination :
